Thanks for checking out our hats — we’re full‑blown hat nerds over here. We love the craft, the art, and the storytelling. You bring the story; we bring the hat‑making.

Handcrafted means character. It means your hat won’t look machine‑molded — because you’re not a number, and neither is your hat. At Keystone Hatcraft, we work with honesty, integrity, and a simple goal: make you a statement piece that feels right. This is a partnership of equals. It won’t be perfect, it will take conversations and need collaboration, and that is the joy of the creative process.

It’s normal to overthink things. You’re investing real money, and you want it perfect, we get that, but please understand art is interpretive. You don’t need every detail figured out on day one. Change your mind later? We’ll reshape your brim for free. Your hat can evolve with you.

We also encourage you to source your own banding. We stock what we think is cool, but hats are meant to be redecorated and reimagined. You don’t have to nail the look immediately. We’re great at catching your vibe and helping you make decisions — whether you want us to redecorate or want to do it yourself, its all possible.

1. Schedule a Consultation Call (you can email nick@keystonehatcraft.com, or text him at 215.264.0498)

2. Measurements (do you know your fitted baseball cap size? have a fabric tape measure? no? it’s okay! We can help just let us know)

3. Pick your options. Color, material, crown/brim style and ideas for hatband (only the color, material and basic style need to be 100% decided at this point)(basic style means dress hat or western hat, we will order your felt accordingly)

4. 50% deposit to get started. (THIS IS NON-REFUNDABLE; it is used to purchase non-returnable materials for your hat)

5. Your Hat Goes into Production (production times vary, as of 8.30.26 production time is approximately 6-8 weeks)

6. Decoration call. At substantial completion, Keystone Hatcraft will reach out to schedule your decoration call.

7. Decoration: This is where we shape and style the crown, brim and hatband. We are able to take limited in person decoration calls. In-person visits can also include steam fitting your hat for a snugger fit. We are happy to do them through facetime or WhatsApp

8. Delivery: Final 50% payment and delivery of your new hat! (Tax and shipping will be assessed with shipped purchases, credit card fees may apply) We accept Venmo, Zelle and cash.
